When we talk about what a true community partner looks like, Piscataqua Savings Bank stands out across our Seacoast NH region as a clear example.
Year after year, its employees volunteer in person, sleeves rolled up, for the neighbors and nonprofits that need them most. Granite United Way is proud to spotlight a partner whose commitment goes far beyond business hours.
Over the past several years, Piscataqua Savings Bank employees have contributed hundreds of volunteer hours in support of Granite United Way’s mission. Thanks to this partnership we are tackling issues ranging from food security and housing stability to youth opportunity and financial empowerment.
This isn’t a one-time effort. It’s a sustained culture of service that their team brings to the community year-round.
In 2025, Piscataqua Savings Bank employees were active across multiple fronts:
Feeding neighbors: Staff volunteered serving meals at Common Table and Seacoast Community Lunch — two organizations on the front lines of food security in the region.
Supporting youth and families: Volunteers dedicated time at Seacoast Community School, providing support to students and families navigating real challenges.
Hands-on Day of Caring service: The team rolled up their sleeves for Crossroads House during Granite United Way’s Day of Caring — New Hampshire’s largest single-day volunteer event.
Building care networks: Employees helped organize donations and prepare snack bags with Mainspring, and supported Pop-Up Care Village events in Dover, Portsmouth, and surrounding communities — meeting people exactly where they are.

Their impact goes far beyond a single day of service.
Through staff-led fundraising and donation drives, employees have directed meaningful support to local organizations including Crossroads House, Footprints Food Pantry, Seacoast Family Promise, and others working to strengthen the social safety net across the region.
This combination of hands-on service and financial support reflects a model of corporate community engagement that creates real, lasting change.
At Granite United Way, we know that solving complex community challenges requires more than funding. It takes people willing to show up, learn what’s needed, and stay committed over time.
We’re grateful for partners like Piscataqua Savings Bank that exemplify what it means to be a neighbor in the truest sense.
Piscataqua Savings Bank’s story is one of many — and there’s room for your organization at the table.
