Our responsive grantmaking model supports nonprofits addressing immediate and urgent community needs through direct services and rapid-response efforts. Multiple funding cycles each year allow us to quickly direct resources where they are needed most.
This grant program awards responsive funding ranging from $1,000–$10,000 per cycle to sustain critical programs during times of uncertainty.
We will be posting upcoming funding opportunities here – check back soon!
Administered by Granite United Way on behalf of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and the Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, this program offers short-term responsive grants (up to $15,000 for timely projects) and multiyear project grants (up to $75,000 per year for up to 2 years) for sustained efforts.
Funding supports community-based efforts that prevent, reduce, and address the harms of the opioid crisis.
Through a partnership with Granite United Way, the Foundation invests in programs that honor its mission to support elderly, indigent women by addressing housing instability, isolation, and health challenges in Greater Manchester. Funding prioritizes direct services and projects that deliver essential care, transportation, and community connections for women living at or below poverty standards.
This funding opportunity supports the BioFabrication Cluster Work & Learn Program, led by SNHU in partnership with the University of New Hampshire and Manchester Community College. The program is designed to strengthen the regional biofabrication workforce pipeline by helping residents overcome barriers to education, training, and employment.
Through this grant program, SNHU seeks to invest in trusted community partners that can connect Greater Manchester residents to practical supports, preparation, and pathways into the region’s growing biofabrication sector. Funded partners will help create accessible on-ramps to education and workforce opportunities, with a focus on residents who may face barriers to participation.
