Granite United Way Announces 2026–2027 Board Leadership
Following a record-setting year of community support, the Granite United Way Board of Directors 2026–2027 leadership has officially been announced. Josephine Moran, President and CEO of Ledyard Bank, will continue to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors, joined by two newly appointed board members: Sarah N. Rubury, Esq. and Christopher J. Lizotte, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP.
As the largest United Way in New Hampshire, Granite United Way covers over 85% of the state alongside Windsor County, Vermont. In the past year, we have delivered a record $18 million in support, benefiting over 600 nonprofit agencies and impacting more than 450,000 individuals across the region.

Strategic Community Investment Highlights
Beyond fundraising, Granite United Way facilitates cross-sector collaboration among municipalities, non-profits, and private donors. Key financial investments include:
$5 Million – Opioid Abatement Community Grants: In partnership with the NH Department of Health and Human Services, the Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, this initiative channels settlement funds into local substance use prevention and recovery services.
$2 Million – Strategic Funding Partnerships: Directly invested through local partner organizations to maximize community impact.
$1 Million+ – Donor-Directed Funds: Direct contributions targeted toward specific local programs and agencies.
$700,000+ – The Mary Gale Foundation: Administered funds dedicated to supporting elderly women in need throughout the Greater Manchester area.
Nearly $700,000 – Responsive Community Impact Grants: Distributed through local Community Impact Committees (CICs) via multiple grant cycles annually.
About Sarah N. Rubury, Esq. – Westcott Law
Attorney Sarah N. Rubury joined Wescott Law in 2016, having previously practiced in New York. In January 2022, Sarah became a Partner and Director of the firm. A 2013 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Sarah also graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College of Middle Tennessee State University. She is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New Hampshire and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Rubury focuses her legal practice on commercial and residential real estate matters, as well as estate planning, probate administration, business law, and select litigation matters. She is committed to being an active member of the communities she serves. In addition to serving as Granite United Way’s Central Region Community Impact Committee Chair she is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Belknap County Bar Association and the Grafton Regions Development Corporation.

About Christopher J. Lizotte, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
As Senior Vice President – Architecture & Engineering, Chris brings 30+ years of experience to PROCON. Renowned for his ability to manage complex, multi-million-dollar projects, he combines strategic oversight with a keen attention to detail that ensures design excellence.
His portfolio includes high-profile projects such as the mixed-use development at Portwalk Place, a Class A office building at 145 Maplewood Avenue in Portsmouth, NH, and a nine-story Dual Brand Hotel at Station Landing in Medford, MA. His current projects include Liberty Lane Residences with 248 apartments in three buildings in Hampton, NH: an 80-unit mixed-use building in Lowell, MA, and 75-unit mixed-use project in Manchester, NH. With expertise spanning multi-family, hotel, office, and manufacturing facility design, Chris continues to shape innovative, high-quality developments.
