Granite United Way administers the Opioid Abatement Community Grants Program (OACGP) on behalf of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and the Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission

Through this program, $10 million in settlement funds will be invested over two years to support community-based efforts that prevent, reduce, and address the harms of the opioid crisis across New Hampshire.

OACGP supports programs, partnerships, and community-led work that strengthen prevention, treatment, recovery, and long-term well-being.

Community
Advisory Team

Granite United Way has developed a Community Advisory Team comprised of subject matter experts and people with lived experience who will serve in an advisory capacity to help inform the development and implementation of the Opioid Abatement Community Grants Program. Sixteen individuals were selected to serve on this Community Advisory Team. We worked to include broad geographic representation, as well as diverse participation across the continuum of the substance use and mental health service delivery systems in New Hampshire.
