Granite United Way Recognizes DAF Day on October 8th
Our community is filled with generous and giving individuals. One of the trends we are seeing is an increase in donor-advised funds (DAF) and this year we recognize DAF Day on October 8th and the important impact it is making. It is one the fastest growing forms of philanthropy.
Choosing to give through a DAF is the ability to make a meaningful and lasting contribution that supports programs and strengthens services across our community. This form of Fund allows individuals and families to conveniently contribute funds and eligible assets to nonprofit organizations. Choosing to give through a DAF can establish a long-term approach to your family’s philanthropic giving.
Granite United Way takes great pride in making intentional investments in areas focused on healthy communities, housing, financial stability and connecting people to resources. We are proud of taking part in building a culture of giving across our community. For those who give through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), Granite United Way offers a convenient DAF giving option through our Donate page or you can give directly through DAF Direct by typing ‘Granite United Way’ into the Designation section. We hope you will take this opportunity to learn more about the benefits of leveraging a DAF in your personal giving and inspire others to give intentionally to generate impact.
