Help us keep New Hampshire warm this winter.

As the temperature drops, thousands of children and adults across our state lack proper winter attire. By participating in the NH Coat Drive, organized by New Hampshire United Ways, you help ensure your neighbors stay warm and safe during the coldest months of the year.

DROP OFF LOCATIONS

Collection bins are located at your local Eastern Bank NH branches: Nashua, Concord, Salem, Manchester, Bedford, Stratham, North Hampton, Portsmouth, and Dover.

WHEN CAN I DONATE TO THE NH COAT DRIVE?

Donations will be collected September 15th through October 23rd 2026.

You can drop off coat donations anytime during regular business hours at any participating Eastern Bank location. We encourage early donations to help us organize and distribute outerwear to children and families across New Hampshire before the coldest weather arrives.

What Can I Donate?

“We are accepting new and like-new coats for all ages (children and adults). To ensure every recipient receives outerwear ready to wear immediately, we kindly ask that donations are either brand new or gently used.

Special thanks to our partner Cleary Cleaners, who is generously donating their professional cleaning services so every coat is fresh, clean, and ready for everyone to wear!

Hear from our 2025 recipients

Last year, our community collected 2,104 coats across New Hampshire! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to supply winter outerwear to 56 local nonprofit organizations, agencies, and schools statewide, keeping thousands of our neighbors warm.

Concord School District

“Being able to offer warm coats to students and families across the school district was so wonderful. More than 150 winter coats have already been distributed through our school-based and mobile pantries for students and families, and we’re very grateful for the community’s support.”

Rise for Baby and Family

“One of our families was living in the motel and both parents rode ride their bikes or walked to work every day. When I asked Mom if she was interested in a warmer coat, her face lit up!  She had been sharing one warm coat between the two of them and was so thankful. Small acts of kindness like this are what help hard working families thrive.”

“We received coats of all different sizes which were very quickly taken by families who need them while they attended programs here at the ASCC. Families are so grateful to United Way for providing quality, free coats for themselves and their loved ones as costs have continued to increase for our most vulnerable populations.”
